We couldn’t be prouder of our team and the hard work they put in is recognised consistently.RoleWhat does this role involve?The role of a Key carer is varied and includes working both in the office and out in the community.Example Duties that will be included:Assisting with and carrying out Client reviews, Carer spot checks, Care Plans and Auditing.Covering care calls in the community, including starting new packages to ensure they run smoothlyAssisting with the shadowing and training of new members of staff in the communityAssisting the care co-ordinators with Client medication reviews and changes.Supporting the on-call team as and when requiredHours:We are looking for full time and part time availability. As we offer a service 365 days a year, applicants are required to work a combination of morning shifts (##########0), evening shifts##########200) across the week, and commit to working a minimum of two shifts every other weekend.What are the benefits of taking this role?At Saxon Care, we believe that caring is an incredibly important job to do in your local community. Don’t be fooled by the headline rate, if you’re not being paid travel and waiting time in your current role, you will almost always be worse off financially!Salaries above the living wageOur Key carer rate is between £12.03 – £13.65 per hour (which includes enhancements for working unsociable hours like evenings and weekends) and double-time pay on public holidays. We are committed to paying more than the living wage.Guaranteed hours contractsWe can offer a guaranteed hours contract for this role.To help with the rising costs of fuel, we offer paid mileage of 45p per mile in addition to paid travel and waiting time between your client visits.Paid training and shadowingA lot of companies will ask you to start and go through your training on a voluntary basis. At Saxon Care, we pay you for your time spent training, shadowing, and learning the ropes!
