Key Accounts Manager (Material Handling)

Reporting to and working closely with Commercial Director, this role is focused on developing existing key account business and seeking new opportunities whilst actively offering support to the wider sale provision. You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, and the range of standard benefits includes a company car, laptop and phone.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a close relationship with key account contacts providing regular and accurate reporting information
• Operate within the CRM environment and provide regular updates to colleagues and management
• Analyse customer purchase trends, identify gaps in offer and highlight opportunities for sales growth
• Support customers with promotional activities and organise marketing support
• Work in conjunction with the field sales team locally to support national business initiatives

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Experience working with national and large-scale industrial customers
• Good understanding of UK and international industrial equipment manufacturers and importers
• Experience handling top-quality brands and key elements of selling value-added concepts for premium-priced products
