We are looking for an ambitious medical sales professional who enjoys managing key accounts, going after new business and exceeding sales targets. Candidates with experience in the field of
diagnostics, point-of-care sales, medical devices
or
medical equipment
would be well-suited to this role. The role covers
North East England , specifically,
Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Darlington, and North and South Teesside.
The main objective of this role is to ensure the company is leading the way in point-of-care testing for infectious diseases within secondary care. You would be responsible for identifying and progressing key strategic opportunities within the newly-forming Clinical Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) and community landscape. This will require managing and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders and pathways, working across all levels within the NHS, public health and local authority settings.
Key responsibilities:
Applying a ‘hunter mentality’ to bringing in new business across your territory.
Provide a high standard of key account management to existing customers.
Lead and initiate projects or work as part of a project team as required.
Demonstrate excellent business acumen and strive to meet and exceed agreed financial and strategic objectives.
Implement national strategies for new and existing products and services (mapping out and building stakeholder relationships).
To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following criteria:
2+ years of medical sales experience.
Living on a patch
either in
Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Darlington
or
North and South Teesside.
Experience selling of selling medical devices.
Interest in selling to point-of-care settings such as A&E, Emergency Rooms, Admission Wards, clinics and such places of entry.
Previous experience working with infectious diseases or women’s health diagnostics would be an advantage but not essential.
