Join Intertek Electrical as a Key Account Manager. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for both new and existing business development, working across a broad range of customer accounts to build a resilient and reliable pipeline of opportunities across our service offering.

Their business spans a wide range of industries such as Medical, Lighting, Renewable Energy, HVACR, Appliances & Electronics, Hazardous Locations, Industrial Equipment, Life Safety & Security, IT & Telecom Equipment, Wireless Devices and Software.
ABOUT YOU
As a Key Account Manager, you are excellent negotiator with exceptional communication skills. Your track record should showcase proven sales metrics experience covering activities, quotes and orders targets.
Required skills and experience:
Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in a business-to-business environment
Proven technical sales experience, ideally with large, complex customers e.g. FTSE100
Comfortable working to targets in a metric driven environment (activity, opportunities, quotes, orders)
Good IT literacy, comfortable with CRM usage and MS suite (PowerPoint, Word, Office, Excel)
Blends qualitative and quantitative information to formulate and communicate solutions
Proven track record of stakeholder management at a senior level
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Key Account Manager you will accelerate the growth of the UK electrical business by unlocking the potential of our most exciting customer base. You will be regularly engaging with Director level decision-makers in some of the world’s largest and most innovative companies, representing Intertek and positioning us a partner of choice.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement your own sales strategy: plan and execute regular engagement with key accounts (new and existing) - actively growing our customer network and account spend
Be the customer's interface to our business: providing a seamless service from start to finish
Represent Intertek externally: at events and conferences, aligning with marketing to activate key customers and build a reputation as thought leaders
Provide feedback to our business: to ensure we continually evolve to meet future requirements of our customers
Hybrid. Required to travel. Office Locations - Milton Keynes, Leatherhead or Chester.
Permanent. Full Time.
