Our client is a well-established global Freight forwarding, transport and logistics company, operating in over 90 countries worldwide. They currently have an opportunity for Key Account Freight Internal Sales Coordinator based at their office in Altrincham. The role is offered on a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, flexibility around this.
Now looking to strengthen the sales team they are now recruiting for a Key account Internal Freight Sales Coordinator to join the freight and sales team in Altrincham, Cheshire, in an established freight office.
Key responsibilities are as follows
* Dealing with customer queries via telephone/email
* Monitor and maintain a shared email inbox
* Obtain costings, provide quotes complete with service information to clients
* Negotiate rates with Airlines, Shipping Lines, hauliers
* Following up quotes
* Preparing quotes for clients
* Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and overseas agents
* Handle everything up to booking point when it's passed over to the operations team.
In order to apply
* We are looking for internal freight sales or freight forwarding operations experience to move into a more commercial role
* We are looking for Freight forwarding experience or related experience to apply
* A candidate who can work to deadlines and has an overall understanding of freight forwarding
* A commercial approach and customer focused skills.
Salary and Benefits
�28,000 to �32,000 Circa
