Alfanar Energy UK are developing the largest Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in Europe, utilising first-of-it's-kind technology and attracting a £1.We're currently seeking an experienced individual to join us in London on a staff basis as a Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will have 3-5+ years PQE and experience working on infrastructure, energy, O&G, Construction or Petrochemical projects. This is a key role for us as we scale our team to take on this project and will have significant responsibility, offering an opportunity to progress and accelerate the candidate's knowledge & career progression.
Qualified to practice law in the UK
~3-5+ years PQE gained either in-house or private practice
~ Knowledge of UK legal system and ability to develop further to support business operations
~ Ability to articulate legal and contractual risks for management
Provide general legal and compliance support to the business in areas such as employment law, data protection, corporate law, property related issues etc
Advise the management on risks and potential opportunities related to the above
Coordinate with and supervise a variety of external legal advisors
Interface with various internal business units (Finance, Procurement, Accounting, Regulatory, Intellectual Property, etc.) A competitive salary and benefits package is available.
