Job DescriptionThis is an IN OFFICE job, we will not consider remote candidates or relocations.The Role:We are seeking a Junior Website Developer to join our creative team of web developers, graphic designers & marketing professionals based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.You will hold web development experience (minimum 1 years’ experience) and are willing to work with and learn various cutting edge technologies and tools across many different applications and sites. You are a self-motivated individual who can perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You have the ability to work as a part of the team or on your own. You have a good understanding of web development and analytical skills, working with our designers and front-end developers towards enhancing user experience and streamlining processes.The ideal candidate will have WordPress & Magento skills and ideally will have built sites in an agency environment.Due to the nature of a Junior role the position would be office based and therefore only local candidates will be considered.Key Responsibilities & Skills:Good experience and knowledge of the following technologies: PHP, CSS, HTML, Javascript, SSH, MySQL, GIT, LinuxThe ability to build the code in to CMS systems such as WordPress & Magento.Strong developers mindsetStrong interpersonal, communication & timekeeping skillsStrong finishing skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure the websites are of premium qualityAbout You:We would love to speak to people who have a passion for the industry and keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies. We are looking for someone who is very thorough in their workload with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work. On a daily basis the successful applicant will be involved with building a large and diverse selection of sites. From complex eCommerce sites to smaller brochure WordPress sites. You will be reporting directly to the Technical Director.
