Junior Tax Consultant

A growing and forward thinking accountancy practice is seeking a Junior Tax Consultant to join their busy Belfast team.
This is an opportunity for someone who is wanting to start their career as a tax professional. Excellent support and training will be provided.

The Role:
Prepare / assist in the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns (and related partnership returns) within statutory deadlines;
Prepare / assist in the preparation of some year-end tax provisioning calculations;
Provide support members of the tax team as required
The Person:
Graduate applicants should be educated to degree standard, ideally in Finance, Accounting or a numerate subject.
All applicants should be numerate and demonstrate a decent level of competency in Excel
Good interpersonal skills are key to enable you to work effectively with colleagues as well as deal with clients
The role offers an excellent learning experience, however we do demand high levels of commitment to both on-the-job development and study towards professional qualifications.
As well as offering exposure to general Corporation Tax work, the role offers an opportunity to gain experience in such areas as Limited Liability Partnerships, Close Companies, Offshore Funds, the Investment Manager Exemption and other aspects of asset management tax.
