Are you a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field? Are you passionate about fostering a love for science in young minds? We are currently seeking a dedicated Junior School Science Technician to join our client secondary school located in Bexley.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for science experiments and demonstrations, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Assist teaching staff in delivering practical science lessons, providing technical support as needed.
• Maintain and manage inventory of science supplies and equipment, keeping accurate records of stock levels.
• Ensure laboratory spaces are clean, organized, and conducive to safe experimentation.
• Support students in understanding experimental procedures and techniques, fostering a curiosity for science.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science-related discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics etc)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols in a laboratory setting.
• Passion for education and promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning.
