Role: Junior Project Manager

Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Glasgow (3 days WFH and 2 days spent in the Glasgow office)

Salary: Up to £33,000 DOE

The Role:

As a Junior Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of services to our retained clients through the project management team. This entails managing a diverse range of tasks, from handling spontaneous first-line support requests to orchestrating the seamless delivery of monthly retained services and overseeing small standalone projects.

Responsibilities:

Handle retainers and small projects.

Maintain client support systems.

Manage budgets, timescales, and quality for multiple projects.

Foster strong relationships within the company.

Collaborate with the CDT Project Lead to determine project approaches and utilize various documentation and controls.

Ensure proper utilization of JIRA and Confluence.

Gather requirements, produce briefs, and define user stories.

Collaborate with clients and Account Managers to plan and deliver work.

Identify obstacles and prioritize tasks to achieve optimal outcomes.

Enhance project management skills.

Demonstrate dedication to achieving excellent results through hard work.

Requirements:

Project Delivery experience in a similar environment: Applies methods, escalates issues proactively.

Financial Management: Understands financial impact, collaborates on scoping and costing, ensures revenue accuracy, escalates financial issues promptly.

Effective Communication: Translates complex information effectively, fosters team discussions.

Strong Planning: Recognizes planning importance, communicates plans effectively.

Process Optimization: Identifies efficient processes, addresses deviations promptly.

Ownership and Initiative: Takes ownership of problem-solving, collaborates for resolution.

Delivery Momentum: Understands project phases, manages risks, dependencies, ensures continuity.

Team Collaboration: Motivates team, provides feedback, addresses challenges collaboratively.
