Project Management @ hyperexponentialThe hyperexponential Project Management team is not a typical consultancy, we work internally as well as with our clients & our partners to ensure that project management best practice is applied in everything we do to lead to successful outcomes. We specialise in working closely with our customers to ensure that we help them transition to our platform successfully, enabling them to handle the interesting and complex problems they regularly face. Here are some example challenges we will take on this year:How do we transition our clients from sale to Go Live and ensure that they are seeing the benefits of our world class platform as soon as possible?How do we make sure our clients are first-to-market with rapidly built, best in class pricing models in Renew?How do we ensure that we understand the features that matter to our clients and work with our excellent Technology teams to deliver them?What can we do to help our clients make the best use of Renew and expand usage across their business?How can we put in place processes with our Customer Engineering team to ensure that client onboarding is seamless?How can we lead on internal projects to drive the business further forward towards it’s ambitious goals?The Project Management team works with all of the teams at hyperexponential but particularly closely with our Technology and Model Development teams as well as with our clients.You'll work closely with our customers running projects to support their transition to our world-leading platform, and work with super-bright, driven people (both inside hyperexponential and among our data, service and insurtech partners).MissionWe're disrupting the insurance industry with our platform Renew, which insurers use to build mathematical models to make complex pricing decisions. Solving questions such as:What are the chances that SpaceX's next launch will fail?What would happen to the property in Silicon Valley if there was an earthquake?We are currently doing this for some of the largest, and most cutting-edge names in specialty insurance today, and our client base is growing rapidly. We are now scaling our Project Management team so that we can work even more closely with our clients, partners and the broader tech/insurance community - and that’s where you come in!Your missionwill be to work across the whole of hyperexponential to ensure that we provide our customers with an unrivalled experience from the point of POC, through the sales journey, project delivery, handover and throughout their hyperexponential customer lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesNote: hyperexponential is still a relatively early-stage business, and our culture prizes initiative highly - as such this section is a good indicator of your role, but the list isn’t exhaustive.You will:Manage the project lifecycle for our clients via a clear understanding of the fundamentals of project management.Be able to support the Project Management team with all aspects of a project including: statement of works, contracts, change, budgets, project plans, reporting, action tracking, RAID management, and stakeholder management.Be able to manage projects independently with oversight from a PM or lead if required.Have a comprehensive understanding of the role, team strategy and it’s responsibility within the wider business.Support a wide variety of project types including customer engagement & platform onboarding, model build projects, feature design & development projects, and large-scale client transformations from legacy systems to ours.Work with customers to ensure they get the best experience from Renew, including being the first responder to customer questions and triaging support queries.Help to shape and design our project management processes, ensuring that we have consistent ways of working to always deliver projects to a high standard for our clients.Work with teams across hyperexponential to ensure that Project Management is used to drive value wherever it is needed.Helping reduce friction and eliminating impediments that slow us down.Initial DeliverablesYou will:Within the first month:Learn our current project approachComplete training on our current project management toolingReview our existing project portfolio & previous projectsAssume ownership of delivery for client projects, managing your own deadlinesWithin 3 months:Be consistently contributing to and improving our internal and external artefacts and ways of workingYou will be working with multiple customers helping deliver value to themCompleted hyperexponential’s sales enablement training and have an understanding of our prospective customer pipelineUnderstand of product development lifecycle and how we deliver for our customersWhen not working on customer opportunities, you will be responsible for independently driving initiatives which provide value across hyperexponentialCompetenciesIf you're the right fit for this role, you will be able to show clearevidencethat you:Eager to learnThis is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects for some of the world’s biggest companies.
