The RoleI am currently recruiting for a Junior portfolio Manager to come on board and work with my client, the largest housing provider for second- and third-year university students. You will work alongside the Portfolio Manager working on a significant amount of investment to fuel fast growth expanding the companies portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or someone who is looking to start a career within property.The CompanyThe company has over 900 large properties in 24 cities around the UK. Their aim is to assure students a comfortable and exceptional living experience with the most modern appliances, high quality and attractive furnishings and fittings and the best use of available space during their time studying.Key Responsibilities
To assist with the letting, & customer service team for the property portfolioTo have responsibility for the financial and operational performance of the portfolioTo achieve or exceed planned rent income and expenditure targets and budgetsManage the transition & integration of new acquisitions into the businessEnsure the appearance & presentation of our properties meets expected high standardsDevelop, manage & motivate our ambassador and agent network to achieve letting & financial objectivesEnsure compliance with statutory, industry code & best practice requirementsStrengthen adherence to existing operational processes & standardsOrganise & manage annual tenant handover process planning and delivery each summerSupport the implementation and embedding of planned new digital business processesLead performance improvement projects & initiatives working with team members to implementAddress & resolve escalated issues & complaints in a timely & efficient mannerResearch, monitor & report on market activity in existing and target citiesTo carry out any reasonable request from the senior management team and to work flexibly across the organisation as required. To be considered for this role, you mut have: Strong leadership & people management skillsExcellent organisation & time management skillsStrong budget management credentials & accountabilityAdvanced communication & institutional quality reporting skillsCommitted to providing excellent level of customer service from initial contact through to tenancy endAble to manage multiple projects running concurrentlyManage team to enter consistently high-quality information in our management systemsFull UK Driving Licence Desired Benefits
