Junior Performance Analyst

Our client is a leading name within the investment management industry. As a result of the company’s success, they are now looking to recruit aJunior Performance Analyst to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Head of Performance, the Junior Performance Analyst will take responsibility for the following duties:Calculating and analysing performance and attribution using specific performance systems as well as some manual spreadsheetsCalculating all GIPS composites, MI Reports and Board reportingProduction of performance reportsDeveloping performance data and performance systems to enhance the performance reporting processLeading ad hoc data-centric projects to improve efficiency within the Performance teamWriting commentaries to explain fund performancePerformance measurementEnhancing the current performance reporting process by using advanced Excel, VBA and/or SQLThe Junior Performance Analyst will meet the following skill set:1-3 years’ previous experience working as a Performance Analyst or Data Analyst within an investment management houseExperience of report production within investment operationsKnowledge of all main asset classesSees themselves as a natural problem solverHolds the IMC or IOC (or is working towards completion)Highly numerate – numerical degree is preferredThis is an exciting opportunity for junior candidates with strong buy-side Operations experience, ideally with Performance Analysis and/or Data Analysisexperience looking to excel their career as a Performance Analyst in a dynamic and lively team at an award-winning asset management house.If you believe your background meets the criteria, please apply with a copy of your CV.Note, this is a highly competitive position.
