We are looking for a Junior People Advisor to join us and support our global team through the full range of people topics such as people support discussions, investigations, disciplinaries, mediation, performance management and much more.You will support our Head of People & Talent in the preparation and implementation of people processes including performance reviews and compensation and benefits activities.Salary for this role is £30-35k Check out the progression path for this role here (it sits within the People team, People Partnering category)This role and the team are hybrid based out of Telephone House in Shoreditch, London. This role does have in-office expectations because of how we operate as a team and business, and although we’re really open to what those are and how they work, this team does require 3 days a week together in the office. We regret that we are not open to fully remote applications right now for this reason, but what we can offer is a flexible working approach which can be discussed per role and a host of team cultural activities and treats in our office.You Will:Be the first point of contact for all People related queries through the People Support Inbox Proactively manage Employee Relations (ER) cases, building the capabilities of people managers and working with teams generally to provide guidance and support on correct HR procedures. Support and handle sensitive and complex ER issues including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances to ensure that the people's agenda is maintained and any risk to the business minimised. Possess employee and labour relations expertise, excellent judgement, and highly-developed analytical and communication skills.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Assist in the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance issues and improvement plans. Support with the documentation required to run Payroll for both the UK and USYou Have: Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and working practices CIPD level 5 employment law certificate Experience creating monthly and weekly reports for all people data for senior stakeholders Excellent business partnering skills demonstrating the right level of challenge and influence to get results Experience working with HRIS (preferably HiBob) Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities Our Benefits and Perks:
