Location:�Heathfield, East Sussex

Hours:�Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Salary:��25,000 per annum

About the Role:

Are you a driven and passionate individual with a background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering? Join our team as a Junior Maintenance Engineer and immerse yourself in a manufacturing environment. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our client's machinery and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Shadow the Production Manager to learn maintenance leadership responsibilities and best practices.


• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues


• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery and replacing parts


• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments


• Assist in coordinating maintenance activities and resource deployment.


• Provide timely support for machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.


• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks on production machinery.


• Participate in reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance activities.


• Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and areas for improvement.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.


• Efficiently identify and rectify faults to optimise productivity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred.


• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems troubleshooting.


• Familiarity with maintenance practices.


• Ability to conduct thorough inspections.


• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.


• Team player with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.


• Valid Driver's License (Preferred due to location)


• 3 Years of machine maintenance experience


• Right to work in the UK
