The successful Junior Legal Assistant will be someone with a solid legal background but desirous of a more commercial and wider role.
The role will involve:
- Conducting legal research
- Writing reports
- Providing admin support
- Organise diaries, schedule meetings and respond to queries
- Drafting basic legal documents and update contract templates (e.g. loan agreements, guarantee agreements, commercial contracts)
- Collecting information
- Maintaining libraries and databases
- Document Management/file organisation
- Using external tools and inserting information
- Creating Power Point presentations
- Updating Policies, Registering trademarks
- Monitoring legislation changes
- Drafting compliance meeting minutes
To be successful in this role of Junior Legal Assistant we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as within a commercial law environment or in-house legal experience would be advantageous
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
- LLB,BA or BSC in Law
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
