Junior Joinery CAD Technician

Junior Joinery CAD Technician, West Midlands, up to £24k 

My client is a leading design, manufacturer, and installer of shopfitting for leading Retail customers.

They are looking to take on a trainee member of staff to join a multi-disciplined drawing office. This varied role will offer training in surveying / design / construction / setting out and manufacture of joinery and shop fitting using the latest Autodesk software. This role would suit individuals with an interest of working in construction and manufacturing who is experienced in AutoCAD. 

The Role: 

·         To work and train within the following disciplines. 

·         3d laser surveying & plotting.

·         Setting out and store development layouts.

·         Bespoke joinery and design. 

·         Electrical and mechanical layouts.

·         Office upkeeping and record keeping. 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required: 

·         Fully conversant with 2D Auto CAD - Auto Desk Inventor advantageous. 

·         Woodwork / wood material / joinery knowledge advantageous. 

·         Working knowledge of MS office.

·         Experience / Interest in construction / joinery and design within the building and manufacturing environment. 

·         Be open to learn new things and enjoy the learning journey.

·         Driver’s license. 

·         Self -manageable & motivated persona.
