Junior Investment Analyst

Supporting a family office in the hire of a Junior Investment Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. In this position, you will be required to help with all aspects of the investment process including investment research, supporting front-office operations, and providing analytics and reporting for the portfolio.
The investment team invests across a range of asset classes, geographies and sectors and the position provides the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and exposure in the asset and wealth management space. The role will vary day-to-day and the analyst is expected to be adaptable, with a ‘can do’ attitude, and a willingness to learn
Responsibilities:* Help monitor the investment portfolio by maintaining the trade capture and performance systems* To produce reporting as needed for the end client, investment team, and other internal team members* Be an active part of the investment team and contribute to investment research through idea generation, initial and on-going due diligence, and portfolio and performance analysis* Demonstrate a proactive and diligent approach to tasks and projects.* Help to improve processes and to be conscious of both operational and investments risks
Requirements:
Approximately 3+years work experience ideally with both investment and investment operations exposure
Degree in numerical or financial discipline. Professional qualifications (or road to) viewed favourably
Strong attention to detail ability to manage their own work load and priorities
Ability to work independently, but also to be a team player
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrable interest in financial markets
