We are innovative
That's why we need people like you to help us. People who enjoy finding new ways to do things. We have a brand new and exciting 6-month contract for an IT professional with 1st or 2nd line systems support experience, who is keen to develop their infrastructure knowledge and career. In this role, you will be triaging tickets that have been escalated by your service desk colleagues and interacting with internal customers and 3rd party suppliers to successfully bring issues and incidents to a close.
In addition to the above, you will also have lots of opportunities to take on projects, proof of concepts, and the trialling of new tools and software. Here are just some of the activities that you'll be responsible for:
Deliver first-class support to colleagues and customers
Maintaining the day-to-day operations of IT systems by monitoring, analyzing, and correcting system support issues and errors
Assure the integrity, performance, and security of IT systems
Manage the deployment of services within production and test environments
Investigate emerging technologies and applications and contribute to decision-making
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
Proactively seek to improve and automate processes wherever possible
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
Previous experience supporting Microsoft/Azure systems at 1st or 2nd line is essential, along with being able to configure and support Microsoft 365 technologies
A good understanding of how the ITIL Framework supports IT Support Engineers and of IT architecture and design
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Naturally curious with a passion for problem-solving
