My client is a successful IFA business, providing both businesses and individuals with sound Independent Financial Advice across Investments, Pensions & Retirement Planning. Due to the significant growth over the past year, we require additional support within the Operations team, who generally provide Administrative support to the Financial Advisers of the business.Role:Operations AssistantDescription:This is a fantastic entry level position, in which the successful candidate will gain experience and exposure to the wider aspects of an IFA firm than would typically be seen within an IFA administrator role.Duties may include but are not limited to:Supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day tasks necessary for the business to maintain the high level of support to the financial advisersReviewing client’s files, ensuring compliant documentation and advice is being delivered across each individual adviser’s client banksDistribution of newsletters informing clients of updates in the financial markets and economic outlookProviding paraplanning support and assisting advisers in investment research, the creation of suitability reports and associated documentationBe able to provide basic IT support to the wider business to assist in the smooth operational running and consequent delivery of high-quality advice to clientsReviewing and maintaining internal documentation of the business, such as disaster recovery planning, organisational charts among other key policy informationThe successful candidate will:Have a keen interest in financial services, specifically within the financial advice sectorPossess a positive and ‘can do’ attitude Be technology adept and be able to support the Operations Manager in dealing with a variety of IT queriesIdeally, but not exclusively, have experience in financial services and be working towards level 4 diploma statusWhat is on offer?Full visibility of the financial advice sector, exposure to many areas of the business that would ordinarily not be available to entry level positionsKnowledge and support through industry relevant qualifications necessary to progress in this fieldInsight into how successful financial advisers conduct business both personally and from a regulatory perspectiveAn entry level position in the financial advice field, providing you with the opportunity to grow alongside the businessCompetitive salaryAdditional informationVACANCY DETAILSLocation:HarrogateCLOSING DATEMar30APPLY NOW!If you would like to apply for this vacancy by uploading your CV to Lime then please use the form below.Vacancy ApplicationWe would love to hear from you!
