Position: Junior Graphic Designer

Aim Agency seeks a versatile Junior Graphic Designer with a solid background in WordPress, photography, and videography. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in crafting visually captivating designs and producing compelling videos and stunning photography to elevate our clients' marketing and communication strategies.
This role demands a bold, creative vision, technical proficiency, and a passion for storytelling through different mediums. At Aim Agency, our clientele is diverse, so it is vital that you quickly adapt to their individual brand guidelines, aesthetics, and target audiences. Given our tight-knit team, we require a self-starting individual who can work autonomously and take charge of creative projects.
Responsibilities include:
Graphic Design:
Develop concepts and designs for marketing materials such as print and digital assets, social media graphics, infographics, and website banners.
Collaborate with the team to translate client briefs into captivating designs that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Create eye-catching illustrations, icons, and other elements to enhance design compositions.
Identify optimal print methods and aid in locating suitable suppliers for printed media production needs.
WordPress:
Add and manage content such as text, images, videos, and graphics using WordPress's intuitive content management system (CMS).
Optimise content for search engines (SEO) by utilising WordPress plugins and best practices.
Install and configure WordPress plugins to add functionality to the website, such as contact forms, galleries, sliders, and social media integration.
Customise plugin settings and styles to ensure seamless integration with the website's overall design.
Photography:
Plan and execute professional photoshoots, on-location and in a studio environment, capturing high-quality images that align with client requirements and brand aesthetics.
Collaborate with clients and project teams to interpret photography needs, objectives, and desired outcomes.
Edit and retouch photographs using industry-standard software, ensuring colour accuracy, composition, and image optimisation.
Videography:
Conceptualise, storyboard, and script videos to effectively convey client messages and stories.
Capture high-definition video footage using professional equipment and techniques, both on-location and in a studio.
Edit video content, including cutting footage, adding transitions, visual effects, and motion graphics, and incorporating audio elements.
Optimise videos for different platforms, formats, and screen sizes while maintaining high visual and audio quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the team and clients to understand project requirements, provide creative input, and ensure effective communication throughout the design, photography, and videography process.
Candidates must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or a related field.
Proven professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects alongside selected photography and videography work.
Demonstrable WordPress skills and experience.
Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
Expertise in photography, including experience with professional cameras, lighting equipment, and post-production editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
Proficiency in videography, including experience using camera equipment, lighting setups, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong conceptual thinking and creativity. The ability to translate client briefs into visually compelling designs and multimedia content.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate progress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
An up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms and ever-changing trends and developments, with a deep understanding of their impact on design, photography, and videography.
