Role: Junior Graphic & Content Designer
Function: Marketing | Design | Content | Creative | E-commerce
Responsibility: To create visually impactful material in-line with the company’s marketing requirements
Reports to: Senior Graphic Designer
Location: Gatwick Head Office (Crawley)
Compensation: Competitive Salary + 20 Days Paid Holiday

Background:
STYRKR is one of fastest-growing and global sports nutrition brands. We are an ambitious brand with huge goals, based just outside of Gatwick in West Sussex, with a dedicated small team of A-Players. Over the last few years, we’ve been building the Styrkr brand in order to fulfil our vision of global domination. As of now STYRKR is currently sold and distributed across the UK, USA, EU and Taiwan with many more countries quickly joining us on our ride around the world.
We’ve been making changes to our long-term marketing strategy in order to drive efficient expansion of our brand channels. We are crushing the competition, and require a
Junior Graphic & Content Designer
to collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to craft visually captivating and impactful marketing material.
Reporting directly to our Senior graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the aiding in the design of a vast array of marketing materials across all platforms and channels. We are looking for a creative, proactive and forward-thinking designer with a strong portfolio, capable of understanding our brand and style to make a strong impact across our channels. All whilst upholding our values of openness, accountability, entrepreneurialism, and personal happiness.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be using a range of graphic design related software such as Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create next level artworks. Whether product artwork, website imagery, social creative or videos, you will be able to actively participate in concept ideation and be a part of the design process end-to-end. You will also participate in everyday housekeeping, work alongside our growing marketing team and be able to stamp your mark as an up-and-coming designer in the wellness sector.

Main Accountabilities:
Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to craft visually captivating and impactful marketing material.
Designing digital content and ad creative content for online and all social media platforms.
Designing motion and film content for platforms.
Crafting digital and print advertisements.
Developing product packaging designs and artworks.
Creating templates for email marketing campaigns.
Contribute to the development of visual content that harmonises with our brand identity and core values.
Participate actively in concept ideation, fostering creative brainstorming sessions.
Assist in the organisation and maintenance of design assets and files.
Stay attuned to the latest design trends, methodologies, and technologies, infusing fresh and innovative ideas into the team.
Undertake administrative and ad-hoc responsibilities as required to ensure the seamless functioning of the design department.
Success in 6 months:
Have grasped the fundamental stylistic principles of our brands and creative
Have a clear understanding of our marketing and sales channels.
Have a clear understanding of how the business operates and have mastered basic administration and ad-hoc tasks
Contributed to several successful marketing campaigns
Designed world class creative content for our social media and performance marketing channels
Delivering impactful ideas and concepts to our Senior Graphic Designer.
The Senior Designer is receiving more compliments from internal staff than usual on the latest artworks
Success in 12 months:
Have a strong understanding of the fundamental stylistic principles for all brands.
Have mastered the Ad-hoc and administrative aspects of the role.
Have an in-depth knowledge of our e-commerce platforms and channels
Have played a key role in creating design material for several marketing campaigns
Delivering
The design team is getting compliments from customers and partners as well as internal staff.
Success in 24 months:
You will have mastered the creative side of the brands and are able to successfully adapt and create on trend content quickly without support.
Have played an integral part in elevating our brands to the biggest players in the D2C and B2B sports nutrition and wellness sector and a recognised name in the e-commerce industry;
Have implemented a handful of new processes or technologies that have forever changed the way we do things for the better
Customers and partners alike cannot get enough of our revolutionary brands and our design work can be found all over the sports nutrition industry and social media

Not be scared to break-the-mould and think outside of the box
Experience & skills:
1-2 years of experience in a graphic design or content position or a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, although it is not mandatory.
A passion for graphic design and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
Proficiency in utilising graphic design software, specifically the Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience in video editing is a bonus.
A strong portfolio showcasing your design work, including examples of projects
