Location: Basildon

Salary: �22,000 - �25,000pa

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm

My client is looking for a Junior Freight Import Coordinator to join their team based in Basildon. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in logistics, eventually becoming a fully-fledged Freight Operator. Your new career in Logistics starts here!

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering import documents and executing import entries.
• Liaise with Transport companies, organising deliveries.
• Liaise with 3PL suppliers and warehousing.
• Be an integral part of the LCL Team.
• Support and liaise with the Customs department, arranging customs clearances and completing Bills of Lading.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the Freight and Logistics industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Previous experience using Destin8 would be advantageous.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication.
