Description:
Stenham is a London-based alternative investment specialist with a 35-year track record in actively managing hedge fund portfolios on behalf of a sophisticated and globally-diverse client base. We manage assets on behalf of pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, private banks, asset managers, charities, family offices and HNWIs seeking consistent investment performance. Our specialist knowledge enables us to identify differentiated opportunities which we can deliver to clients through a variety of flexible and innovative solutions. We offer both commingled and bespoke solutions, including offshore and UCITS funds, white-label products and separate managed accounts, in order to meet specific risk and return objectives. An opportunity has arisen to join a well respected investment manager as an Equity Analyst within the Direct Equity Strategy. The analyst will support the team in terms of fundamental equity research and coverage and the role will provide significant scope for responsibility, progression and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct bottom-up analysis of specific companies and industries to generate investment ideas
• Build financial models to analyse financial performance and valuation
• Produce investment reports and present ideas to the investment team
• Other ad hoc responsibilities including portfolio analytics, performance analysis and client communication commentary
Requirements:
• 1 – 2 years’ of experience in equity research
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to evidence a genuine passion for investing
• Strong academic background with a degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong analytical skills, proficient in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
