We are currently recruiting for a Junior Digital Designer!
Role Overview
A key role within our growing in-house Creative team, the Junior Digital Designer will
work closely with the marketing and CRM teams to create engaging digital assets across
homepage and email, as well as paid content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and more.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with at least 1-2 years of experience at a design agency, brand or retailer with a portfolio that showcases a range of digital designs and formats.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to our Senior Digital Designer, the Junior Digital Designer will help assist and
create digital marketing materials and e-commerce assets, in keeping with Space NK's
brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will be up-to-date with the latest creative and social platform trends and be able to enhance our customer's digital experience. This role may also include collaborating with the wider design team to carry out production of graphics for other facets of the Space NK brand, including print. Working for a leading, global beauty house, you will be joining us at an exciting time to help bring our brand personality to life through creative concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support our marketing, creative and CRM teams with digital asset creation across
all touch points, including display and affiliate, ecommerce pages, marketing
emails and more.
- Help elevate campaign storytelling with a fresh and luxe feel across all channels, in
keeping with Space NK's brand guidelines.
- Work with the digital marketing team to optimise creative collateral based on
analysis and the results of active campaigns.
- Support and create social design ideas that push our brand forward.
- Assist the tech team with the testing of emails and web content where necessary, as
well as attending weekly staging meetings.
- A firm interest in current trends and competitors, bringing new ideas to the table
to help customers connect with our brands and products.
- Work with our project coordinator to maintain deadlines and clearly communicate
project status to team members.
- Communicate with designers, developers and our project coordinator on weekly
objectives and help facilitate execution of projects with tight timelines.
Skills Required:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working within the creative industry, ideally in
the beauty or luxury sector.
- A thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and
Illustrator, is a must.
- Experience of using Figma, UX/UI and design systems is essential.
- An understanding of After Effects, Premiere Pro and video editing/motion graphics
is a plus.
- A team player who's able to manage multiple projects and take direction and
feedback well in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly creative with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Able to follow brand guidelines, with an eye to creating best in class work.
