We’re looking for a talented generalist Junior Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design, with the ability to create compelling visuals for both print and digital media. As you grow with us, there will be opportunities to expand your skills and transition into product design, working on exciting projects that shape the future of our products and services.

We currently have a small in-demand design team of two supporting requests from across the business in marketing, events, research and product. We often take complex and information dense ideas about data and communicate them in a visually appealing and easy to understand way.
Reporting into Dean Senior Designer)- you’ll be based in our London office with hybrid at home working.

Who we are looking for
● 0-3years of experience
● Basic understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
● Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
● Promising portfolio of design work. Your portfolio doesn’t need to be huge, but you should be able to talk us through your projects and your role in them. Non-paid projects like university work or personal projects are fine!
● Passionate about multiple areas of design, you’re willing and able to complete work for different mediums and projects across print and digital
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This isn’t a client facing role, but you will be working with and supporting different teams within the company.
● Working knowledge of the tools we use regularly: Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite is ideal however we are more interested in your ability to pick up new tools quickly.
● Bonuspoints if you can demonstrate experience with any of these additional skills:
o Understanding of UX/UI principles and practices
o Webflow
o Motion graphics and video editing
o Hubspot
Your first 12 months at Neudata you’ll be:
● Learning about the alternative data industry
● Attending one of our industry Data Summit events
● Working under the guidance of our designer Barbara, you’ll be creating designs for print and digital to support our regular industry events:
○ Social media graphics
○ Signage and wayfinding
○ Slide decks
○ Print outs
○ Bannerstands
○ Screen/monitor graphics
● Assisting with requests from the marketing team to create graphics, emails in Hubspot, PDFs and print materials to support our sales team and external marketing campaigns.
● Creating slide decks for our research and leadership team to share valuable data and ideas both internally and externally.
● Putting your creative stamp on event work by creating unique graphics styles and motifs for each event based on event themes, seasons and interesting visuals.
● Expanding your skills and responsibilities into Webflow, motion graphics, video editing and product design based on your skills and interests. Compensation

Recruitment Process
Typically, Neudata’s recruitment process involves candidates attending a multistage interview process. Interviews take place virtually and in person at our London office which enables candidates to meet the team located in London.
You may be asked to complete a short design task as part of the application process.
