At SHARE, we love helping brands improve relevancy with the people that matter. We do this by mixing pioneering research and technology with strategy, creativity and performance to create solutions, messages and experiences that mean more.
Weʼre hugely experienced at doing this on social media and digital channels, but weʼll create new products, run TV ads, put up billboards, climb mountains and create events whenever we feel itʼs the right, and relevant, thing to do.
SHARE is made up of some of the brightest, independent and pirate minds in the industry and has a client list that includes Microsoft, Mercedes AMG and The North Face. We might come from different backgrounds and have different experiences, but we are bonded by a joint mission to create work that leaves a legacy. Together, we believe in Being Helpful, Defying Expectations and Enjoying The Journey.
Mission:
As a member of the Data Science team, you will utilise a strong analytical mindset and solid programming skills to provide insight to our internal strategy and creative teams and directly to our wide range of clients. The two primary agency brands within our network youʼll be supporting are SHARE (for the brand strategy) and Capture (for the direct to client research).
Job Functions:

Methods includes modelling, building language classifiers, a bit of predictive analytics, dimension reduction. We do a bit
of everything.
Work closely with the Global Data Product Manager to feed into and support the development of our internal package suite
Develop an understanding of the connection between our analytic techniques, social media strategy, and operational processes – how do we make statistics easy to digest for business stakeholders and marketeers? Requirements Hard Skills:
We programme mainly in R (with some other languages thrown in), so the role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking to get into data science or an analyst with some knowledge of R striving to develop their data science skills.
The role will require a mix of skills, with some computer science knowledge for the development of function writing and package deployment in the machine learning and NLP workspace, but also social science and research skills to present results in a way that answer business and research questions.
