We’re looking for a Data Analyst to:
Work collaboratively with stakeholders within Group Internal Audit (GIA) to deliver and operate data analytics and automation solutions to support audit processes and risk assessments.
Plan, design, implement and own a range of analytical products, proactively monitor the usage of these and take initiative to maximize the products’ benefits to end users.
Advise GIA stakeholders on analytical options to address their specific needs, including discussing potential analytical approaches to problems, associated costs, trade-offs, and recommendations.
Build and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues across our GIA Innovation team, collaborate with and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other pod members.
Display effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership ability coupled with effective problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills.
Meet our internal standards for the quality, execution, and documentation of end products and reporting, taking account of relevant compliance requirements.
Your Team
You will be working in Group Internal Audit (GIA) Team in India / Poland. GIA is an independent function that supports in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes, governance, risk management, and the control environment within all business divisions and Group Functions (GF) functions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board and the Audit Committee.

In your role, you will own and support the development of a pipeline of innovative automations and analytics which deliver important capabilities to our audit function.
Your expertise
Experience working as a data analyst / scientist within the financial services industry.
Work effectively independently as an individual or as part of a wider team with minimal supervision in the delivery of analytics and automation solutions.
Analytics and reporting skills include experience in Python, PL/SQL or T-SQL, Alteryx and Power BI.
Applying advanced data analytics / science techniques to solve business problems.
Project management skills, and comfortable with managing multiple, concurrent projects within an Agile methodology framework, including familiarity with common Agile concepts such sprints, ceremonies, and product backlog prioritization.
Interest and prior experience in building innovative data-driven solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
