We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to come and join us. Armbands optional.
The Part You’ll Play as a Junior Commercial Analyst…
We are currently looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to manage the provision of relevant, appropriate, and timely information for business planning. Responsibilities will include:
Working in a small, dedicated team you will be directly supporting the Commercial Manager in managing the financials for one of our largest clients.
Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management reports on job burns, revenue, forecasts, recoverability, and utilisation.
Interpretation of data and clear, concise communication to ensure understanding from non-financial members of McCann.
Identify and investigate variances against forecasts, liaising with the client services team.
Assisting the Commercial Manager with the preparation and coordination of the monthly reports for submission to executive meetings.
Supervision of WIP & Billing ensuring recovery of committed costs.
Exploring the development of new reports and information systems in line with the changing needs of the business.
As Junior Commercial Analyst You’ll Bring…
High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to handle tight deadlines and ad hoc urgent requests
A desire to build a career in Commercial Finance with a determination to succeed
Extensive Excel skills including: vLookups; Pivot tables; nested IF statements, manipulation of data & formatting
Experience in or interest in learning Power BI
Ability to structure reports and interpret financial information
Confident self-starter capable of handling high volumes of work and data
Flexible to be able to adapt and respond to meet changing agency needs and requirements
