This role will report directly to the Senior IT Systems Analyst and be expected to help drive out the definition and requirements of new business process, systems, through to implementation and support of said systems.The Junior Business Analyst candidate will enjoy being ‘hands-on,’ involved both in the analysis and in delivering the final solution designs. Happy working in a tech environment and happy with basic coding/reporting. You will have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The role will also support and look to constantly evolve existing systems as the business grows.What you’ll be doing as our Junior Business Analyst:Shadowing and assisting the Senior BAs whilst they are performing one or more of the following tasks:Gather infrmation to support definition of business goals and concepts.Identify stakehlders and conduct stakeholder analysis.Cnduct meetings and workshops to capture functional requirements and verifying with user representatives / stakeholders.Participate in integratin testing, including creation of test plans/scripts and system testing and user acceptance testing.Support / supervise integration activities with third-party vendors and service providers.Support the creation of business procedures and related user documentation, including training materials.Work with stakeholders to prepare affected business areas for the introduction of change and transition to new ways of working, including user training.Creation of customised reports and alerts to aid business processes1st line support of internal systems, troubleshooting and identifying cause of issues and create knowledge base to assist in future resolution of issues.Document change management requests raised.Working with suppliers and building support relationshipsTransition of current IT tasksPossible cover for holidays of certain IT tasks or support.What we’re looking for in our Junior Business Analyst:Meticulous an absolute MUST.Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with ability to capture concise requirements.Ability to work in fast paced, team environment & to multi-task and switch gears effectively.Some knowledge of and ability to code or willingness and ability to learn quickly.Understanding of business processesProblem solver and troubleshooting ability.Strong "people skills" - ability to effectively interact with various levels throughout the organisation.Ability to adapt to new situations.Ability to understand and manage priorities.Ability to learn fast and understand complex systems and processes.Experience with any or all of the following highly desirable: Payroll, HR, and Finance software (particularly Sage)If you feel you have the required skills and experience, click apply now to be considered as our Junior Business Analyst– we’d love to hear from you!
