Junior BESS Electrical Engineer

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an international market leader in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of large-scale solar photovoltaic and energy storage projects to recruit for Junior Bess Electrical Engineer role.

The Junior BESS Electrical Engineer role comes with a salary of �35,000-�45,000 DOE plus benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for:

� Supporting Electrical Design work for both AC and DC installation of Energy Storage projects.

� Produce layouts for Substations including SLD preparation, cable sizing calculations, wiring schematics, earthing layouts.

� Reading designs and technical drawings, providing your expertise and guidance regarding project challenges.

� Support and interact with the sales teams to help integrate design specifications.

� Work closely with the technical advisor to help and support ad hoc requirements.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• HNC/HND or equivalent minimum; BSc, BEng or equivalent desired

Personal skills

The Junior Bess Electrical Engineer role would suit someone who is:

� Well organised and excellent communication skills.

� BESS industry knowledge (desirable)

� Has AutoCAD experience

• Knowledge and understanding of international and UK electrical standards.

� �35,000-�45,000

• Bonus 12.5% depending on KPI's.
