Job DescriptionOverview:We are seeking Junior Asset Manager with a technical engineering background to join our clients team. As a Junior Asset Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and optimization of our diverse portfolio of assets, with a focus on technical aspects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply engineering expertise in the field of asset management within the renewable energy sector.Responsibilities:Asset Performance Monitoring: Utilize engineering knowledge to monitor and analyze the performance of renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and battery storage systems. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.Technical Due Diligence: Assist in conducting technical due diligence for potential acquisitions or investments, including reviewing technical documentation, assessing asset condition, and identifying risks and opportunities.Maintenance Planning and Optimization: Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement maintenance plans for renewable energy assets. Utilize engineering expertise to optimize maintenance schedules, minimize downtime, and maximize asset availability.Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to generate insights into asset performance, reliability, and efficiency. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards related to renewable energy asset management. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.Asset Optimization Projects: Participate in asset optimization projects aimed at improving the performance and profitability of renewable energy assets. Propose and implement engineering solutions to enhance asset performance and efficiency.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including asset owners, operators, and service providers. Communicate technical insights, recommendations, and updates effectively to stakeholders.Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in renewable energy and asset management. Pursue opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy engineering.Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.Familiarity with asset management principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and identify trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, MATLAB, or Python, is a plus.Prior experience or internships in asset management, renewable energy, or related fields is desirable.Join Our Team: This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the sustainable energy transition while gaining valuable experience in asset management within a dynamic and innovative company.
