Acoustic Consultant

Location: London

Salary: �26,000 - �37,000

Our client specialises in engineering services within the construction, civil engineering and infrastructure sectors; they also operate worldwide. Due to the nature of the business, there is a fantastic opportunity for career progression & the chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects. So, if you're an Acoustic Consultant who specialises in the field of construction/infrastructure, then this could be the role for you!

Projects include:

  • Crossrail
  • Risk monitoring for infrastructure developments.
  • Architectural acoustics projects.
  • Wind farms.

Daily duties:

  • Undertake acoustic surveys.
  • Noise modelling analysis.
  • Collection and interpretation of data.
  • Project management.
  • Specialist input at design and review meetings.
  • Assist in management of the acoustics team.
  • Financial management of projects.
  • Business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience is preferred but not essenital.
  • Degree in Acoustics or another relevant discipline (IOA Diploma).
  • Member of the Institute of Acoustics.
  • Able to work in a client facing role; with excellent communication skills.
