Job role: Junior Accountant / Accountant
Location: Southampton (Hampshire)
Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: £25k - £30k Dependant on experience

Our client is looking for either a Junior or an experienced Accountant to join their team. The role is based near Southampton (Hampshire) offering a friendly working environment. The ideal candidate will assist in financial management and reporting tasks, supporting the senior accounting staff and contributing to the overall success of the finance department.

Day to day task:

* Recording all financial transactions daily

* Issuing payment invoices and receipts to clients

* Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports to management

* Performing account reconciliations

* Processing income statements, balance sheets and other management account reports, under the supervision of the Senior Accountant

* Reviewing expenditures of the company such as payroll and petty cash expenses

* Assisting with asset audits, as necessary

* Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor
