Joinery Estimator

My client are a Liverpool based contractor who deliver new build and refurbishment works across the North West. They are recruiting for their joinery division which specialises in delivering high-quality joinery services to leading main contractors across the North West. They subcontract on large projects such as residential apartments and student accommodation developments.

They are seeking a Joinery Estimator to join their business and work on a range of exciting projects across the Merseyside and surrounding areas.

As an Estimator, your duties and responsibilities will include the following: Build pricing schedules and cost tender package, ensuring the costs are relevant to the tender specification. Compile tender specific presentations for client meetings. Conversing with clients/external designers to fully understand requirements. Provide a complete estimation service for all joinery products. Analysis of bills of quantities, Schedules, Specifications, and Architect drawings. Analyse quotes to maximise the company's ability to be competitively priced. Attend and arrange pre and post-tender meetings. Negotiate costings and budgets. And attend site for surveys and meetings with clients.
