We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our small friendly team.
Key responsibilities:
Providing secretarial and admin support to the Director and Team
Helping seniors with the following tasks:
Basic bookkeeping work
VAT return preparation and submission
Payroll preparation and submission
Individual self-assessment preparation and submission
Financial statements preparation and submission
Corporation tax return preparation and submission
Updating and maintaining client database
Other ad hoc work
Candidate Requirement:
Ideal candidate must be studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA qualification
Candidate should be IT literate in Outlook, Word & Excel (additional accounting packages beneficial such as Sage)
Excellent English language skills (written & spoken)
Attention to detail & ability to prioritise work
Willingness to learn
Flexibility & adaptability
Work Experience:
Some admin & accountancy work experience is desirable but not essential.
Career progression:
When in the role there will be a chance of progression which will then allow you to take on an increased number of responsibilities within the firm.
Salary:
Negotiable (depend on experience and skills)
