Specialising in fine antique jewels, Faberge, and silver, Bentley & Skinner are renowned for its unparalleled collection of engagement rings, diamond tiaras and its classic Bentley & Skinner Signet Ring.The RoleThe cataloguer and valuer will write and research stock descriptions and jewellery valuations as well as taking part in the general running of high class jewellers.Additional ResponsibilitiesResearch and accurately describe stock pieces.Taking in and managing customer valuationsAssist with sales in the shop and on online platforms; conducting remote sales with customers over email and telephoneHelp developing relationships with clients and enhancing the customer experience.Necessary Experience & CompetenciesAn understanding of and passion for gemstones and antique jewellery: GIA/Gem-A qualifications essential.Cataloguing experience required.A member of The Jewellery Valuers Association or currently studying to become one.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook· Demonstrable research and writing skills· Good team player and collaborative worker· Organised, efficient, and enthusiasticTo apply, please send a cover letter and CV to Ilias Kapsalis at #####
