Job Title: Java DevOps Developer – Public Sector Secure
Location: London Onsite (5 days per week) - Occasional home working
Security Clearance: MUST BE DV CLEARED
This role at Amber Labs is a permanent position working within a Secure Public Sector environment. All employees for this purpose are required to meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), SC and DV Eligible criteria. As such, consideration limited to candidates that are – sole British Citizens & Passport holders, not dual Nationals or anyone requiring sponsorship or holding a visa of any type.
On-Call Responsibilities:
Part of a rotaOn-call overnight approximately 1 day per week (6pm to 8am)On-call every 5th or 6th weekend (Saturday 8am to Monday 8am)

Extensive experience as a Java DevOps DeveloperStrong proficiency in Java programmingLinux knowledge (Desirable)Experience with Apache NiFi, Node.js, JSON, XML, XSD, XSLTProficient in using Jenkins, Maven, BitBucket, JiraFamiliarity with Cloud Solutions Previous exposure to Agile methodologiesExceptional client-facing skills and effective communicationProven ability to solve complex problemsInnovative mindset to contribute to continuous improvement
Note: This role involves occasional on-call duties, including overnight shifts and weekend rotations. The successful candidate should be adaptable, have a proactive approach to problem-solving, and be able to effectively collaborate in a team environment.
