The Opportunity:
The UK’s #1 Digital Defence and Security Solutions Provider seeks a Senior Java Developer to support a Central Government client in delivering a large-scale digital transformation programme - primarily developed using Java/J2EE and utilising an Oracle DB with additional components in VB.net.
Required Experience:
Active SC Clearance and recent Central Government projects.
Java/J2EE Expertise: Proven Java Developer with a strong understanding.
Oracle DB: Hands-on with stored procedures and indexing.
Application Servers: WildFly or similar.
VB.net: Familiarity and integration skills.
Technical leadership: Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor developers.
Front-End Development: Proficiency in JavaScript.
Automation: Shell scripting.
Containers: Kubernetes and Docker.
