You will be part of a fast-growing and pioneering working environment.As well as joining a new, vibrant start-up business in London you will have the comfort of being part of a large, financially stable organisation. Java Developer Job Role:As Senior Java developer you will undertake development activities, mentor and lead others in TDD, BDD and Scrum, or other Agile practices. You will be responsible for the continuous software engineering and collaboration with other functional teams, solution architects, PM and product owners to deliver high quality products and services.You will contribute to strategic development by maintaining competence in open source technologies and bringing in innovative and pragmatic solutions to both business and technical challenges. Pre-requisites:You will have extensive Java development experience Experience of greenfield development, brownfield development and third line support Experience of development using technologies, frameworks and tools across the Open Source stack such as Git, DropWizard, MongoDB, Neo4J, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Pentaho, Jasper, Talend, ELK, Lumify, Drools, Jbpm, Camel, CXF, ActiveMQ, D3, AngularJS,Node.js, Python/Jython, CentOS, Ubuntu etc. Experience of SOA, middleware and microservices Strong Experience of Continuous Integration and Delivery Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently along with leadership skills Experience of working with major consultancy in a client facing role Experience of JBoss solutions and products Experience of Big Data analytics and infrastructure Experience of Geo Spatial technologies Experience of development and deployment in a cloud containerized environment Participation in an Open Source community project Scrum Team Management Advanced knowledge of Spring framework ***This role has SC clearance as mandatory due to the nature of the work.
