JAM isseeking applications fromtalentedAnimation Supervisorsfor an immediate start to join our fantastic team for a 3D animated production. Production on this exciting new series is underway and we are expanding the character animation team.

Job Description:
Animation Supervisors willoversee all team leads, animation crew and production from start to final delivery. They will be responsible for the quality of output of character animation teams and ensure standard is maintainedusing rigged models. Produce believable, engaging and relatable charactersfor a 3D animated production andcomplete to agreed deadlines.
They will need to ensure characters are brought to life with their teams through a variety of expressions, poses, body language and lip synching. They will usethe approved animations as set out by the series Director to provide a consistent style using Maya software throughout the series.
Required Skills / Experience:
Oversee and lead animation production scenes and maintain consistency of production quality and style to agreed deadlines.
Maintain continuity of animation and artworkwithin style guide parameters & schedule
Work with the production teams to ensure that scenes are in line with the Director’s vision.
Ensure teams animation output is ready for compositing stage
Character animation andMaya softwareexperience is essential.
Past experience in animation supervisor rolefor an animated TV Seriespreferred
Key Requirements
Good understanding of technical aspects ofMaya softwareand animationproduction
Strong knowledge of animation fundamentals and principles, walk cycles, lip sync, acting and character timing
Attention to detail, problem solving ability and taking direction in order to work in a collaborative environment.
Position open to UK and Republic of Ireland residents only
Role available for in house/hybrid working in Belfast studio
