An excellent opportunity has arisen for Vehicle Technicians of Level 2/3 and Level 4 to join my client’s busy Dealership in Shrewsbury as a Vehicle Technician.
The successful candidate will be qualified as a vehicle technician from either a main dealer or independent background.We are looking for reliable technicians that are customer focused and will be comfortable working to brand standards.Main Responsibilities· Conduct vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance, and repair on a variety of makes and models· Utilising your technical knowledge to inspect the engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment· Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised)· Repairing and replacing broken or defective parts to resolve vehicle defects· Liaising with customers where necessary· Road testing vehicles to check for faults and repairs· Supporting other Technicians in the Workshop· Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed· Completing all documentation to the required standardThe Ideal Candidate The capability of working to deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality standardsGreat team player and communication skillsMaintain high standards of housekeepingA full UK driving licenseMust hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, or relevant experienceA current valid MOT License is an advantage but not essential as the company will cover the cost if needed.Hours- 40Per week If you want to be part of a successful team, feel up to the challenge, and have the relevant experience please apply today.If this role is of interest to you please call Jen@ Jago Consultants on 01903 337017 or email #####
