IT Vendor Manager

Arcus Search are proud to support a boutique London Market Syndicate, on searching for an adaptable and communicative IT Vendor Manager. You will oversee IT Operations for a small business whilst managing the performance and activities of selected Vendor partners.
You will be joining them on a permanent basis, to oversee controls, new process implementation and facilitating relationships between the Business and Technology. You will manage technology vendors to reach mutually beneficial goals. This is a critical role in the management of core, outsourced IT services, not "hands on" technically by nature, though of significant value in understand core needs and business functions necessary to the business' success.
Responsibilities:
Manage core, outsourced IT services contract and relationships
Work alongside the Underwriting Operations Manager to achieve change and project management, initially focusing a core market IT change.
Support issues prior to escalation
Assist in monthly Information Security forums and Incident Response teams
Understand needs and requirements, liaising with various stakeholders and vendors daily
Requirements:
Extensive management of third party supplier relationships
Experience working in the Insurance or FS industry (London Market highly desirable).
Knowledge of Cybersecurity, control and resilience
Data experience, including data sensitivity and classification
Collaborative demeanour, analytical and problem-solving skills
