Our client, an independent oil and gas company in Norwich, is seeking a dynamic IT Support Technician to join their team.
If you have a BTEC/NVQ qualification or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Microsoft/CompTia) along with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, we want to hear from you!
As part of the busy IT team, you'll play a crucial role in providing IT support to users across various sites, including onshore and offshore installations. Your responsibilities will involve maintaining IT hardware/software, troubleshooting issues, implementing new configurations, and ensuring that all systems meet business requirements.
To excel in this role, you'll need a high degree of flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Windows OS deployment, Microsoft Powershell, Office Applications, Active Directory management, networking technologies, and information security practices is essential.
