Position: IT Teacher (QTS) Salary: £110 - £180 per day Location: Sheffield Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Career Teachers is recruiting qualified QTS or PGCE Information Technology Teachers for schools in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Positions are available on both a full-time, long-term basis and a part-time, day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching IT at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4), with a strong track record of student achievement and engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current with educational best practices and technological advancements.
  • Flexibility, commitment, and a passion for teaching.
  • A current DBS or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to easily commute to Sheffield or within the South Yorkshire area.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment.
