Unique opportunity for an IT support technician to join an historic motorsport and events business based at the racetrack in Silverstone.
No experience required and this could be a first role out of education, alternatively it could suit an existing L1 support specialist looking to kick on and further specialise in Infrastructure/Networking technologies.
The business provides great training and this role offers the chance to gain exposure to networking technologies such as – Wi Fi, DNS, Vlans, Firewalls, Routing and Switching and to progress into a Network Engineer role long term.
Role/Responsibilities
1st line IT support to users ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA
Configuration/provisioning of Networking equipment
Setting up of Wi Fi Networks
Provide excellent customer service
Inbound service request diagnosis and resolution
Desktop issues affecting users, workstations, applications and file storage
Set up new PCs & laptops
Fix hardware faults and install upgrades to hardware
