IT Support Engineer & Technician
An exciting opportunity for an IT Support Engineer and/or an IT/Network Support Technician to join an extremely successful, international construction group, to provide inhouse IT & Technical support across the IT systems – both hardware & software/applications.
As part of a larger IT team, Day to day duties will include, ensuring the IT systems are working at their optimum to support the rest of the business in their daily operations and helping deliver technical solutions, as well as keeping up to date with the latest relevant technologies. You will be helping to diagnose & troubleshoot IT Hardware, applications/software and Network faults and then working towards a technical fix/resolution with strong problem solving skills. It will include installing/rolling out the latest software releases & configuring hardware & network settings etc as well as prioritising workload. The role will be a mix of face-to-face, telephone & online support.
The salary is to £35k (DOE) + great benefits & ongoing personal development/career development, although please note that due to the nature of the role & the face-to-face support aspect, it is an office based opportunity
Experience required:
genuine interest/passion, as well as a background in IT Infrastructure & Application Support
in Hardware/Software Support
Support skills in TCP/IP, DHCP, WAN/VLANs Routers & Firewalls
Technologies:- Active Directory, Windows Server & 10+, Office 365,
analytical/problem solving skills
and ability to learn quickly
