Our integrated approach combines expert research and distribution, a range of investment banking services, and an execution services hub that provides liquidity to the UK capital markets.The departmentThe IT Support Engineers provide technical support and administration for all internal end-user software, hardware, and connectivity.The wider IT department supports and develops the IT infrastructure of the firm. There are ten members within the team who cover front office development, systems development and systems support. The team is responsible for all the IT that you see, and don’t see.Role responsibilitiesResponsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to: Provide front line end user support for all Peel Hunt’s internal systems, third party tools, and technologiesAnswer support queries via telephone, email, and in person, taking ownership of tickets, following them through to resolutionIdentify, diagnose, research, track, and resolve technical issues within current product offerings while also investing in next generation of products and servicesContribute to a team of highly-skilled and high-performing technologists, that are focused on maintaining a resilient, secure and reliable IT environmentJob requirementsExceptional communication skillsExcellent problem-solving methodology and analytical approachAbility to work under pressure and complete tasks to set deadlinesAbility to learn quickly and apply knowledgeStrong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Windows)Experience workingwith Microsoft administrative tools, such as Active Directory, Group Policy and SCCMAbility to pick up on trends to identify wide-spread issuesWillingness to work as part of a team to deliver projects and change within the firmUnderstanding of Audio Visual Systems(Desirable) Knowledge of finance applications such as Bloomberg & Eikon
