We are currently working with a trust who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join their team, primarily based in the Luton and Central Bedfordshire (North Hub) area. The role involves providing high-quality and timely ICT support services across all Trust sites as needed.

In this role, youll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
1st and 2nd Line Support: Provide timely and professional support, identifying and resolving hardware and software issues for staff, students, and visitors.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and technical upgrades with minimal reliance on external organisations to ensure ICT hardware and software are always functional and ready for use.
Installation and Configuration: Install and configure new hardware and software, including network equipment, workstations, and servers. Monitor their use, capacity, and security.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff, including in-classroom support when required.
System Administration: Administer the school's MIS systems and other systems, including email, backup, and security.
Record Maintenance: Maintain all necessary records, including work logs, inventories, and equipment checks.
Technological Improvements: Assist the Partnership ICT Manager in planning and securing improvements and developments in technology, including ordering new hardware, software, and consumables.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that ICT equipment and workstations meet health and safety requirements and are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours&Benefits:
Salary £12,314 Per Annum
37 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 08:00-16:30, 07:30-16:00, 09:30-18:00
Finish 30 minutes earlier on Fridays
Always 1-hour lunch break

Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English
