The Position
Job Title:
12 – 15 months

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday – 9 to 17.30
Role and Responsibilities
As an IT support technician, you will support their customers withtheir day-to-day IT queries as well as making sure that all services aremaintained and up to date. This includes network devices, client machines, andcloud servers (AWS).
The role will involve external customer communication and support,so it is essential that you are comfortable communicating at all levels andable to remain calm and think on your feet when under pressure.
Supportingcustomers over the phone and via email with day-to-day queries.
Supportingcustomers by keeping tickets up to date with all relevant notes and responses.
ManagingIT equipment and stock in and out of the business.
PerformIT admin for customers through basic tasks such as creating users, resettingpasswords, etc.
Settingup IT and network devices for customers.
Keepingcustomer devices and services secure and up to date.
Creatingand setting up intricate networks and ensuring they stay secure.
Supportingthe fixed line (Broadband and Telephony) team during busy times.
Any other tasks that managementsee fit.
Desired Qualities, Skills andKnowledge:
Holds a driving licence.
Hasa base knowledge on multiple operating systems (Mac OS/Windows/Linux).
Hasknowledge of Microsoft products.
Hasknowledge on popular cloud/on premise servers.
Hasa basic understanding of VoIP and Broadband services.
Hasprevious experience in IT support.
Iscomfortable answering the phone and conversing via email.
Isa strong team player with ability to also work alone.
Is able to be organised andable to structure your own working day
Is a creative individual withthe ability to think outside the box to find solutions to complex issues.
Isconfident in their own skills.
Hasthe ability to create strong relationships with customers and staff.
Isa strong communicator.
Iswell organised.
Has the ability to completetasks in a timely manner
